Fair Use Policy

This Warranty & Fair Use Policy is issued by Emergency Medical Services Pty Ltd atf EMSAS Trust (ABN 23 791 570 058), Registered NDIS Provider 4050012974, trading as Emergency Medical Services (“EMS”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
- Warranty
- Standard 12-month warranty from purchase date against manufacturing defects.
- Call 1300 699 159 for troubleshooting before claiming.
- We may replace the device or ask you to return it for assessment.
- Warranty is void if the device has been opened, tampered with, misused, dropped, exposed to excessive heat/contaminated liquid or fire, used with an incorrect adaptor/voltage, or submerged in water.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL) guarantees:
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. For major failures you are entitled to a refund or replacement; for non-major failures you are entitled to have the failure rectified within a reasonable time or a refund if this is not done.
- Fair Use Policy
This Fair Use Policy applies to the use of EMS medical alert systems and pendants.
- The SIM must only be used in the EMS device and only for emergency calls, not general calls.
- You must not use the service unlawfully or in a way that disrupts other customers.
- If you breach the Fair Use Policy, we may limit, suspend or terminate the service and/or notify regulators.
- The SIM card remains the property of EMS.
We may update the terms of this Fair Use Policy from time to time.
