How does My LifeWatch work in an emergency?

If you press the SOS button or if a fall is detected, My LifeWatch immediately connects you to our 24/7 Australian-based response team.

They’ll speak with you through the watch, assess the situation, and contact emergency services or your nominated contacts if needed.

What if I fall and can’t press the button?

My LifeWatch has smart fall detection built in. If it senses a hard fall, it automatically sends an alert—even if you’re unconscious or unable to press anything. Our team will try to speak with you, and if there’s no response, help will be dispatched.

Do I need a mobile phone to use My LifeWatch?

Nope! My LifeWatch is fully independent and works on its own using built-in mobile connectivity. You don’t need a separate phone or Wi-Fi to use it.

Is it hard to use? I’m not very tech-savvy.

Not at all. My LifeWatch is made to be simple. It has large, easy-to-read buttons and a clear screen. No apps or complicated menus—just straightforward features you can rely on.

Can my family get alerts or updates?

Yes! With your permission, the 24/7 response team will contact your family in an emergency.

What kind of health monitoring does it offer?

My LifeWatch can track vital signs like heart rate, blood oxygen and daily activity, giving you helpful insights into your wellbeing. You can also share this info with your doctor or family if you’d like.

Is the service available everywhere in Australia?

My LifeWatch uses nationwide mobile networks and GPS tracking, so it works wherever you are—city, coast, or countryside.

How often do I need to charge it?

My LifeWatch has a long battery life—most people only need to charge it every few days. You’ll get a reminder when it’s running low.

What if I press the SOS button by accident?

No worries! Our team will still respond, but if you let them know it was an accident, no further action will be taken. Better safe than sorry!

Is there a monthly monitoring fee?

No. 24/7 professional monitoring is completely free, there is no monthly or annual fee for this.

Is there any annual fees?

To stay connected to an EMS SIM on the 4G Telstra network, there is a small annual fee.
